TikTok Now has been launched! The feature is inspired by the BeReal App.
Inspired By BeReal
BeReal is a picture application telling you to post at random times of the day. When you receive the notification from the App, you have 2 minutes to post your picture. The picture is composed from your front camera and the back camera.
Consequently, your friends can now what you are doing in real time, with your face and what you can see.
Why BeReal? The application does not have filter at all! When you post, you have to keep it real!
What is TikTok Now About?
Inspired by BeReal, TikTok Now sends notifications to tell you that you have to post your TikTok… and Now! You can therefore tell your friends what you are doing, and what it looks like, in real time!
I am not sure about this, but I think TikTok will keep the filters available. That would be a little difference -with the fact that you can post videos and not only pictures- with the BeReal App.

You can now dislike comments on TikTok. The app wants to make it simple for users to flag « irrelevant or inappropriate » comments.
You can only see how many people dislike a comment if you dislike it yourself.
TikTok Videos Descriptions Up To 2200 Words
TikTok finally align its videos descriptions length with Instagram. You can now write up to 2200 words under your video to better describe it and tell our story.
Very strategic for SEO, this allows you to quote more keywords and better structure your content.
